Fresh and expansive, our Organic Eucalyptus is an excellent decongestant, able to cleanse and refresh both the mind and body.

Clearing and invigorating with a deep woody tone, Eucalyptus has a stimulating aroma that is mentally clarifying and refreshing. Its bracing scent aids in concentration and can help restore positive energy, dissolving negative emotions.

An excellent decongestant, Eucalyptus is commonly used to clear congestion and support the body when dealing with colds and flu. It can also be supportive for respiratory conditions, assisting with the symptoms of sinusitis and other respiratory complaints.

Refreshing for the mind and body, Eucalyptus can provide relief to joints and muscles when combined with a blending oil and used in a massage. It has also been known to assist with circulation issues in the body.

You can use Eucalyptus essential oil for cleaning your home, as it has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Just add a few drops to hot water while cleaning floors and surfaces to purify and cleanse your home, or place a couple of drops at the bottom of your bins to keep them smelling fresh.

Top Tip: Eucalyptus is great at removing the glue residue left behind by stickers and labels from glass and other shiny surfaces*. Add 2 drops to a tissue and wipe the residue away.

Aromatically, Eucalyptus is a top-note essential oil. Light and fresh, it’s the first oil you will smell in a blend.

The most common Eucalyptus species in the world, the blue gum (Eucalyptus globulus) belongs to the huge Myrtaceae plant family that has over 600 varieties. The tree was originally native to Australia and is now naturalised in many countries, including Spain, China, and Portugal. The trees can grow up to an impressive height of 90 metres and are distinguishable by their greyish bark and blue-green silvery leaves. Its leaves are extremely rich in Eucalyptol and the essential oil itself contains about 70% eucalyptol. It has been used traditionally for centuries by the native populations of Australia and New Zealand as a herbal medicine to treat fever and infections.
